Our Mission
The Mission
A European benchmark in player development
A proven environment.
A player-first methodology.
An immersion inside a Champions League club. A proven development environment. The standards of the highest level.
At the center of it all is one priority: the player.
Identify their potential. Understand their profile. Define what they need. Then create the conditions for them to reach the highest level of their game.
We understand what the top level demands because we have lived it.
Sébastien Chabbert was developed at La Gaillette before playing professionally for RC Lens, AS Monaco and FC Metz. He came through the same academy that has produced generations of professional players, including Raphaël Varane.
At RC Lens, player development is not a promise created for marketing.
It is a culture, a standard and a legacy.
Who we are, exactly
RC Lens' direct presence in the United States
We are not an intermediary organizing trips to a European club.
We represent RC Lens directly in the United States, bringing the club's methodology, coaches, evaluation standards and development philosophy to American players and clubs.
The same principles that shape players at La Gaillette are applied here without dilution, imitation or compromise.
RC Lens is not simply a destination we offer access to. It is the institution behind everything we do.
40 %
of the professional squad
Four out of ten players in the RC Lens first team came through the academy. No number says more about a development program: here, academy players actually play.
2025-26 season
- →Second in Ligue 1, behind Paris Saint-Germain.
- →French Cup winners.
- →Qualified for the Champions League.
A club that develops its own players and wins: proof that the method works at the highest level, not just on paper.
Why this mission was entrusted to us
It is no accident
A club like RC Lens does not entrust its name, its methodology, or its academy standards to just anyone.
Sébastien Chabbert spent seven years with the RC Lens first team. He was developed by the club, represented it at the highest level, and understands its people, culture, methods, and expectations from the inside. That shared history and the trust built over many years is why RC Lens placed the development of its activities in the United States in our hands.
For American players, this means the experience is not an imitation, an adaptation, or a diluted version of the club.
It is not inspired by RC Lens.
It is RC Lens.
Clubs & coaches
Sharing the methodology
Our mission does not stop with the players who travel to Lens. We build strategic partnerships with American clubs and coaches, so the academy's method lives on their fields too, all year round.
01
Train the coaches
Pass on to the partner club's coaches the working principles, session content and evaluation criteria used at La Gaillette.
02
Scout together
An outside, professional eye on the club's players, and a direct route for those ready to take the next step.
03
Build for the long run
A partnership is not a one-off visit: it is shared work across several seasons, with regular check-ins and player follow-up.

The Camp: The Starting Point
Train. Be observed. Be evaluated. Understand where you stand.
For several days, each player is exposed to the standards, intensity, and expectations of the elite game.
The camp does not promise a career. It provides something more valuable: an honest assessment of the player's current level, potential, and the areas they must develop to move forward.
It is the first step in the RCL Soccer Camp US pathway.
One player. One profile. One trajectory.
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all programs.
No two players see the game the same way. No two have the same strengths. No two face the same obstacles.
We look at the whole player. Then we individualize.
The player doesn't adapt to our method. Our method adapts to the player.
Reveal. Develop. Support.
Evaluate precisely. Identify strengths. Define the areas for growth.
Build an individual development plan.
Train. Re-evaluate. Adjust. Progress. Repeat.
Player development is never linear. The approach must evolve with the player.
Every step must reflect who they are today and who they can become tomorrow.
Our Only Measure: Progress
We do not measure success by how many players attend our camps. We measure it by how far each player progresses.
Our approach is built on decades of player development, generations of players supported, and elite talent developed at the highest level.
Our responsibility is clear: to give every player the tools, standards, environment, and support required to pursue their full potential.
Developing a player is not simply about passing on knowledge. It begins with understanding what makes that player unique, then creating the conditions in which they can grow.
Reveal. Develop. Support.
The Camp Is the Front Door.
The Player Is the Project.
It starts on the field with immersion, observation, analysis, and an honest evaluation of where the player stands.
Then the real work begins: turning potential into measurable progress.
One player. One potential. One path. One mission.
