RC Lens RC Lens Soccer Camp USA

What actually makes players better

The Method

The player at the center. Always.

We do not believe in one-size-fits-all development.

No two players understand the game in exactly the same way. No two possess the same strengths, face the same challenges, or progress at the same pace.

Our method can be expressed in one sentence:

The player does not adapt to the method. The method adapts to the player.

It unfolds through four connected phases, always in the same order. Each phase informs the next, creating a continuous cycle of evaluation, development, adjustment, and progression.

Every time the player returns, the cycle begins again: not from the same place, but from the player they have become.

The four phases of the method

01

Evaluate

Technical ability. Game intelligence. Athletic capacity. Mental approach.

Technical, game intelligence, athletic, mental: the player is observed in real game situations, then evaluated on our reference areas. They leave with a written individual report: where they stand, and what they need to move forward.

02

Individualize

From the evaluation, the program adapts to the profile: Specific Training in small groups (6 players per coach), priority work areas, a personalized development plan. One player, one project.

03

Compete

The immersion at the academy: the rhythm of a pro academy, matches against French youth teams, elite-level standards. Competition is what reveals a player, and what makes them grow.

04

Support

The camp isn't the finish line: monthly check-ins with a coach, a remote program on the community Platform, a re-evaluation at every return. Progression is built over time, with the player's family and club.

Before you arrive: optional

The online preparation

The method starts before the camp. The online course by Sébastien Chabbert, a former pro trained here and a UEFA-licensed coach, lays the groundwork: fundamentals, technique under pressure, reading the game, mindset, video analysis. A player who arrives prepared gets twice as much out of the immersion.
