Cookies Policy

1. No tracking or marketing cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any cookie that follows you across other sites.

2. Analytics, without a cookie

We measure aggregate website usage with PostHog, hosted in the EU, running in cookieless mode: no cookie and no persistent identifier is stored in your browser, and no event carries personal information. Because no non-essential cookie or similar tracker is placed, this analytics use does not require your prior consent under EU and French rules.

3. Strictly necessary cookie: your session

When a parent or guardian logs into the family member area (or a staff member logs into the admin area), a single session cookie is set by our authentication provider, Supabase. It only identifies that you are logged in; it is required for the member area to work, and disabling it will sign you out. It is never used for tracking or advertising.

4. Video embeds

Where we show a YouTube video, the video does not load, and no cookie from YouTube is set, until you deliberately click play. We embed it through YouTube's no-cookie domain (youtube-nocookie.com) to further limit tracking. Simply visiting a page never contacts YouTube.

5. Why there is no cookie banner

A consent banner is required when a site sets non-essential cookies before you take an action. As built today, this site never sets a non-essential cookie: our analytics are cookieless, and the only third-party content that could set a cookie (the embedded video) only loads after you click play. If that changes, for example if we add a marketing pixel, we will add a consent banner before the change goes live.

6. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling the session cookie will sign you out of the member area.
